Team Enduracers Alpine Project

The Enduracers Team has earned a reputation for creating quality sim mods that goes far beyond the rFactor community as the team has worked with real racing teams several times in the past.

Following co-operations with Epsilon Euskadi & Sebastien Loeb Racing, Signatech Alpine is the newest sports car racing team to utilize Enduracers’ experience.

The team created a virtual version of Alpine’s A450 LMP2 car to be used in their simulator as you can see below.

Whether or not the car will be included in upcoming versions of the team’s Endurance Series mod has not been revealed.

My guess is this would be a big, fat no.

You could be right but we don’t know their agreement with Signatech Alpine. If this team are paying Enduracers for developing their simulator they may have an exclusive deal.

Nonthanless I think it’s always good news when a team of modders is working with a real life team.

You can always bring this argument to the table when your girl/wife blame you for spending too much time playing “videogames” ;)

On a positive note, they confirmed Bmw M3 GT2, Aston Martin LMP1, Zytek 07s and 09s, to be included in a future update so the situation is not that bad ;)

I’m not saying it’s bad for Enduracers to work with a real team, I’m all for it. I just cannot imagine Signatech allowing their work to become public. I know I wouldn’t. Signatech probably has a lot of inside information put into the model. Both in terms of chassis and engine and maybe even aerodynamics.

Exactly. We can hope all this data will help Enduracers developing their physics further.

As it stands even if it’s my favourite mod I genuinely believe the tyre grip is lower than real life.

Was it not gentleman racers physics team in actuality? Which offers possibly the best physics(IMO)one can find in our genre of gaming. As for the tire grip the endurance mod v1 had a .pdf that recommended use of low traction control as well as anti lock brakes what ever might be used in RL thus this tells me the physics are at a more of a raw state without assists and the tires might actually be pretty close to RL and with the recommended assists a representation of what might be considered (TLL) true to life.

Knowing the Alpine is the Oreca there is very few secrets to share. The Oreca 03 is well used across the world in different series.

What I find is the teams for the most part try to do as much as realistically possible for their fans and while this software may be paid for by this race team there is nothing that says they won’t share it with us the fans the bottom line reason for their being.

“The flat6 GT3 is already released to the public, the McLaren will remains private, and the Oreca03 will join the ES mod in the future.”
