TC 2000 – Previews

Posted on September 25th, 2008 in

Thanks to VirtualR reader GeraArg, here’s something I would have missed for sure. 2PEZ Games, creators of the ISI-based Turismo Carretera Simulation have started a new project: TC 2000.

The Turismo Competición 2000 is Argentina’s most popular touring car series held since 1980. The 2008 season includes a variety of cars such as the Ford Focus, Chevrolet Astra, Honda Civic and Renault Megane as you can see below. TC 2000 cars are limited to 2000cc and come without advanced technology such as traction control or anti-lock brakes.

The ammount of cars and tracks seem to suggest a very interesting series, sadly 2PEZ new simulation will probably only be released in Argentina again.

The 2PEZ development blog has plenty on infos on their new project, sadly I´m not able to understand Spanish at all. Translation anyone? ;)

The TC2000 are more sophisticated than the WTCC, to give an example.
They have greater freedoms aerodynamics, I believe that the WTCC are in the order of about 280hp, the engines of the TC2000 exceeds 300hp plus, have better brakes, better chasis; but the big difference is in the tires, the WTCC use a better compound, the Pirelli tires that use the TC2000 are really bad jaja
Is a very nice Category
I leave a video of the street track in Santa Fe in this year, really insane track
