The massive Targa Florio project for Gran Prix Legends seems to be progressing very well as new screenshots of the epic 72 kilometre track have been released.
The TV cameras seem to be working nicely already as we already get to check out the Sicily scenery from various perspectives. The Targa Florio is probably the most extreme track ever used, the cars raced on the dusty public roads, blasting through the little villages.
As safety concerns became an influence in international motorsports, the Targa Florio lost its world championship status and is still run as an Italian rallye today.

Looking forward to this very much :)
It would be even better in GT Legends though – driving an F1 car doesn’t seem quite right.

DW, there is at least one apparently good tintop mod for GPL in the works, for those who feel more comfortable when not surrounded by thinwall aluminum gas tanks ….
I find returning to GPL a real joy, and hope to live long enough to drive the Targa Florio with a ‘66 312!

GPL is a great sim and the track makers are in a league of their own. It would be nice to see the 67 Sports Car mod out soon but it seems to have gone very quiet.
