Luis Branco and PTSims have released a new version of their PTSims GT Addon Cars Mod for GTR Evolution. The mod includes the Ferrari F550, Maserati MC12 and Lamborghini Murcielago from GTR2, the new version fixes a memory leak problem as well as other glitches.

Unlike the GTR2GT conversion, these cars have been carefully converted to match the GT Pro cars in game. The cars have GTR Evolution spec physics and tires plus other additional features such as rear-view displays in the Lamborghini & Maserati and working wipers for all cars.

Important: This mod will only work with the Online-Steam version of GTR Evolution, not the Offline version. Version 2.0 is a standalone download, it will work both with and without having version 1.0 installed.

As the Ferrari F550 has finally made its way into GTR Evolution, Moatlspeed adds some livery variety to the prancing horse by releasing his F550 skin bigpack.

The skins are made to work with the GTR2GT mod, so make sure you have that one installed to use the skins.

SCCA1981 has released the highly anticipated Porsche and Ferrari addon for GTR Evolution, bringing the Porsche 997 GT3 and Ferrari F430 to Simbin’s newest GT simulation.

Originally made by Ibne for COLVIN35’s ALMS 2007 mod for GTR2, both cars are a valuable addition to the GT Sport class, using balanced physics for close racing against the other class entries.

The mod includes 12 Porsche and 6 Ferrari skins from the 2007 and 2008 American Le Mans Series seasons, also included is a skinning guide and templates to paint your personal examples.

Attention: SCCA1981 has released a new version of the mod, fixing crashing issues due to misconfigured backfires and low-detail shadows. If you have version 1.0 or 1.1 installed, please make sure to get the new version below.

Alain Lefebvre and friends have released a new beta version of the Ferrari 312B for rFactor. The 312B was Ferrari’s first F1 car to be powered by a 12 cylinder boxer engine and competed in the 1970 Formula One season.

Version 0.91 includes finalised physics by rFactor physics guru Niels_at_home, a new soundpack, new skins and new tires.

Petrs73 has converted GTR2’s GT class to GTR Evolution, bringing us the long-awaited Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maseratis everyone has missed. His GTR2GT mod includes all GT cars of the 2003 and 2004 FIA GT season:

All cars come with working windscreen wipers and GTR2 stock physics, meaning that racing them against the balanced GT Pro class cars will not give you very close races.

TopGun is working on a 2.0 version of his popular FIA GT 2006 mod for GTR2. Cornerstone of the new version will be a brand new Ferrari F430 GT2 model made by Dave Sharp.

Djjb has released more previews of finished GT3 Ferrari F430 entries for his Total 24 Hours of Spa Francorchamps mod for GTR2.

You can check out the GT Sport, Easy Race, Hexagon Racing & Kessel Racing entries below. Next up is the revised Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 to fill the remaining spots in the mod’s grid.

With assistance from Luis Branco, scca1981’s Ferrari F430 GT2 and Porsche 997 GT3-RSR conversions to GTR Evolution have now working mirrors in cockpit.

With only working wipers left to do, the cockpits are pretty much done, even though scca1981 might be adding some new textures if time permits.

Scca1981’s conversion of the Porsche 997 GT3-RSR and the Ferrari F430 GT2 is certainly one of the most anticipated mod for GTR Evolution as it fills the only major void in the simulation’s lineup of cars.

Here’s good news for all Porsche & Ferrari fanatics as scca1981 has received permission to convert the ALMS 2007 mod’s Porsche 997 GT3-RSR and Ferrari F430 from GTR2 to GTR Evolution.

Below is the first preview of the Porsche in Simbin’s newest simulation, the two new cars should be a perfect fit into GTR Evolution and the GT Sport class in particular.

Over at rFactorcentral, yoss of Team Apex Modding has released a couple of new previews of their Ferrari F430 Challenge mod for rFactor.

The previews show the car’s cockpit in full textured glory as well as some new liveries. The Ferrari F430 Challenge will give you the chance to compete against full field of equal Ferrari F430 cup cars, simulating one of Europe’s well established privateer racing series.
