Mojo66 has released a conversion of the GTR Evolution Nordschleife for GTR2. This is a very much beta conversion, featuring none of the advanced GTR2 features like night lightning or anything else.

Important: This download requires a GTR Evolution installation (both Steam and Offline installs work fine) to work. The download does not include the full track, if you don’t own GTR Evolution don’t even bother downloading this.

If you want to drive the best Nordschleife in PC sim racing, please make sure to buy GTR Evolution to support Simbin for granting the community one of its biggest wishes.

Installation of the track requires changing the conversion bat file, more info can be found on the download link at NoGripRacing below.

Remember this posting? Back in February, volo108 was looking for permission to release his GP2 2005 mod conversion to GTR2.

Six months later, Nunux and Wardog have finally given him green light to release the mod. The GP2 2005 Series mod brings all cars and drivers of the 2005 GP2 season to GTR2, giving us a full field of equal Renault-powered cars to race against.

After the Epsilon Euskadi mod, here comes the second rFactor mod which is officially endorsed by a real racing time. Moller Bil Motorsport enters an Audi A4 in the German VLN series and lets us join their experience by releasing the official Moller Bil Motorsport mod.

The mod features two Audi A4, one in 2008 Moller Bil colors as well as the 2007 season car when the team was called Olrud Mobil1 Racing.

Last weekend, the FIA GT series visited Bucharest for the second time since 2007, racing on the tight streets around the gigantic Palace of the Parliament.

Alexease has been working on Europe’s newest street circuit for rFactor, basing it on Google Maps data. Sadly, he has discontinued working on the track, his 0.9 beta version has been released for download though. If you like street circuits, you should definitely check it out.

Maybe somebody wants to finish up the project, if you do please make sure to ask for permission first. Those of you who are unsure of what to expect, check out the preview video below.

SCS Software has released a demo of their Euro Truck Simulator to let you try their Europe-based trucking simulation.

Euro Truck Simulator puts you behind the wheel of several big trucks, sending you across Europe to deliver goods on time and complete other challenges.

The game has been an instant success in Germany where it instantly made its way on Amazon’s top 10 selling games list. To find out what all the fuss is about, you can download the demo below.

Addition: Pavel Sebor of SCS Software has just informed me that this is not the official demo for their upcoming Euro Truck Simulator but rather a German demo made for a specific website.

The official demo will be available in other languages and is scheduled to be released by the end of the week.

The Vermin Design Team has released an update for their Formula 5000 Alpha Demo for rFactor. The update brings some improvements such as tweaked tire files, the full list of changes can be found below.

Changelog:

Added different cockpits colours for each car.
Tweaked the tyre file slightly.
Tweaked the engine file to stop overheating.
Added specular and cube mapping.
Adjusted the tyre file so that the car sits properly on the track.
Changed the rev counter redline to 7500rpm

Jolo has released World Championship 1975 GTO for rFactor, bringing several classical race cars such as the BMW CSL and the Porsche 911 with plenty of skins.

Like the Historic GT & Touring Car Mod, Jolo’s work is based on Simbin’s GT Legends and requires an original GTL disc to work. If you don’t own GT Legends, you won’t be able to get passed the installation routine.

Remarkably, the mod comes without traction control or ABS available, there’s real skill needed to be quick with these cars. Jolo is working on further additions to the mod, including cars like the DeTomaso Pantera and Ford Capri - Until then enjoy version 1.0 of the mod, if you have GTL that is.

Wildman_fr has released a new version of his FIA GT 1997 mod conversion from F1 Challenge to GTR2.

The new version has new reflections, remapped cars and adjusted seat positions, making this quality conversion even better.

Raceking has released UK Rallye for rFactor, a tarmac rallye track through the beautiful UK country side. The track comes with lots of eye candy and details, too bad that you won’t have much time to watch the sheep while you try to keep your car on the road.

MMG has released a new version of franco fxp’s Valencia Street Circuit for rFactor. Steve B of MMG has improved the home of the 2008 European Grand Prix, bringing it to version 2.0.

Even though plenty of things have been improved, it’s safe to say that this is still no high quality track. But true Formula One fans will love the possibility of racing on a brand new track even before the real series hits it for the first time on Friday.

Following the recently released ALMS 2007 mod, COLVIN35 has released another Le Mans-themed mod today: The Dome S102. The car has been scratch-made for GTR2, modeled by IBNE who’s work can already be found in the ALMS 2007 mod.

Built and entered by Japanese manufacturer Dome, the S102 continues the long line of Dome Le Mans prototypes. The S102 is a closed-top LMP1 prototype powered by a Judd GV5 powerplant, the car finished 33rd at its sole outing, the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hours.

COLVIN35 has released a bunch of updates for his recently released and already very popular 2007 American Le Mans Seires Mod for GTR2.

Updates include a patch for the LMP2 prototypes, a fix for the Porsche 997 windows issue as well as more realistic sounds for the Porsche RS Spyder.

The Lonely and SLN have released Montreal 2008 for rFactor. Based on ISI’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the track has been heavily reworked featuring much more than just new textures.

Changes include new shaders, corrected track layout, new curbs, resurfaced corners, new AIW, new bumps and much more. The track is available as both dry and wet version, bringing Canadas Grand Prix venue to a whole new level.
