Thanks for visiting this page, it tells me that you like my work and want to support it. Supporting me and this blog is absolutely free, I won`t be asking you for donations or anything else as VirtualR is meant to be a completeley free service to the sim racing community.
If you have some spare cents in your Paypal account and want to donate something , I suggest you give it to RSC or your favorite mod team – I´m sure they can very much use it.
Here’s how you can help the site grow and make it a better place for everybody:
1. Write Comments
If you read something you agree or disagree on, please use the comment feature to let everybody know. If you like a particular WIP shot, shout it out as many modders are reading this blog and will appreciate the encouragement. If you disagree with one of my reviews, please let me know and discuss with other readers.
Commenting is easy, all it takes is a very quick signup for your personal VirtualR account. You can also choose to receive a notification about a new comment in a certain story with just one click.
2. Spread the word
VirtualR.net is meant to be a community service, a central point to get up to date about your favorite sim. If you see a story and you think others will find it interesting, share it in your favorite forum/league/club by posting a link. With the “Share This” button under each story, you can easily add it to your favorite social network or bookmarking service.
If you have your own homepage, I am happy to get linked by you. If you linked me, make sure to send me a short message so I can add you to my link list. Those of you who want to link using an image can use the logo with transparent background below.

3. Report News
I can only browse a certain amount of forums each day, chances are that I will miss a story or two. If you see an interesting bit of development somewhere that I haven’t posted, please drop me a line via the report news feature. I´m happy to credit you for your find if you wish.
Please note that I won’t publish everything. For example, I won’t be posting unauthorised conversions of community work or anything similar.
4. Write A Guest Story
Have an interesting thesis on sim racing? Or wrote an interesting review or technical piece? Then send it to me and I´ll publish it. Your story will be read by thousands of sim racers and get the attention it deserves. Every guest author will of course be introduced and properly credited.
5. Follow VirtualR
There’s more to do with VirtualR than just visit the site and read the stories. You can follow what’s going on in the sim racing community in a variety of ways: The RSS feed delivers the latest headlines, the Twitter feed can even send sim racing news to your mobile phone. And by joining the VirtualR Facebook group, you can find out who else is enjoying the site.
Thanks!
Finally, I´d like to thank everybody who’s supporting me and this site. There is no feeling like getting a “thank you” email, seeing my stories get linked or somebody writing a comment – Nothing could provide more motivation.
