Drivingitalia has posted three new exclusive screenshots of Black Bean Games & Milestone’s Superstars V8 Racing title for the PC and consoles.
Unlike reported in the last Superstars V8 item, the Xbox 360 demo was not released two days ago, even though several sites reported the release. The demo seems to be out now, but only for Xbox Live Gold members as Silver members have to wait until June 12th. Since I don’t own a Xbox 360, it would be nice if anyone could confirm whether or not the demo is really available now.
The new screens show us something interesting as Black Bean seems to have run into the same problem as Simbin with STCC – The Game. Even though the game has the Superstars V8 license, the title was obviously not allowed to use the Mercedes name as Massimo Pigoli’s Mercedes race car has turned into a fictional “Scorpio”.
Officially licensed by the European Superstars Championship, the title will include all cars and tracks of the Italian series. That includes popular race cars like the Audi RS4, the BMW M5 and other V8-powered machinery that races on Italian tracks as well as at Portimao and Kyalami. Superstars V8 Racing has been announced to be released in June 2009 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

Well… demo is now there. Drove two 3 laps race on Porticimao(?), with BMW and Caddy.
Could be worse, i say “ok’ish” game. Remember that this is console driving game.
Most importantly this is hugely better than very crappy Alfa-Romeo from same publisher.
