Earlier this summer, Black Bean Games & Milestone released Superstars V8 Racing, bringing the European Superstars Championship to the PC and gaming consoles.
The title received mediocre reviews, suffering from rather poor graphics and physics as well as a missing cockpit view. The developers are given another chance though as a new version will be coming in Q1 2010. Improvements will include new cars and tracks as well as an improved online mode.
Furthermore, the team will be assisted by former F1 driver and Superstars Champion Gianni Morbidelli, hoping to make the new Superstars title more realistic.

Just because Gianni Morbidelli will be involved doesn’t mean its going to be realistic.
Black Bean/Milestone are incapable of producing realistic phsyics.
Move on nothing worth seeing here :)

I can’t understand this no matter how hard I’m trying to. Their last game was a flop wasn’t it?
How would a reputable games company (now under more scrutiny than ever) allow them to develop another title with the likes of all the other racing games brought to the scene this year.

Well I really enjoyed SBK09, and it was much improved over SBK08…….so maybe thats the logic of giving them another chance? But tbh even if they do produce a good racing game, I can’t see it being much of a sim.

No mention of the missing cockpit view though, why? Who gives a damn about new cars and tracks without this? This should be the first thing they address, for pities sakes its 2009 not 1999.
