Simulationsfanatiker has released a sunrise & sunset version of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, adding true endurance racing atmosphere to GTR Evolution.
Since GTR Evolution does not support 24 hour lightning changes, the sunrise & sunset versions have been created using a different start time for correct sun position and changed color tones to match the type of day.
Check out the preview video below to see the effect at work, the pack includes all three layouts of the Nürburgring available in GTR Evolution. No files are overwritten, the new track versions can be chosen alongside the original version.

Since there was the question about the Lens Flare Mod I recommended to use, I’ll post it here too.

Just copy this GameData folder to your GTR Evolution folder and change in your [YOURNAME].plr file the entry “Lens Flare in Cockpit View=0″ to “Lens Flare in Cockpit View=1]

nice addition to this sim i wish i could see someday a NIGHT MOD or 24 HOUR MOD – without it the game is really strange for me
the GTR2 had it RF too and R07/evo no simbin should be ashamed and make a quick fix :]
