STCC Game – New Screenshots

The Swedish Subdogs.se website has a full review and plenty of new screenshots of Simbin’s upcoming STCC – The Game which you can find below.

While the review is only interesting to those being fluent in Swedish, the screenshots show the new cars for the very first time. They also solves the mystery why the Mercedes was missing on the car list. The car is in game but has been changed to not resemble the real car.

Why Mercedes wouldn’t allow their car to appear in a real simulation but approves crap such as the Dream Testdrive is beyond me though.

    Age? HDR WHO!? what about all those animations and so on? in my opinion, a racing simulator don’t need this graphical crap which other games have like grid…perhaps a real reflection would be a great addition…but…while racing who is looking at the reflections of any car?!

    no one needs that for real driving plätscher ;)

    …oh and with the benz…thats a real shame…but as we know, mercedes is much more conservative then everyone thinks :mrgreen: not only because of grannys driving a-klasse and such :razz:

    Try iRacing – very innovative even if it perhaps doesn’t look better than ISIs gMotor2.

    Providing expansions such as STCC isn’t innovative perhas but it is refreshing to see it in racing sims. When Simbin switch to their new engine I hope they continue with the expansion concept.

    Not just the gfx engine, the pmotor physics engine as well.
    And why cant a sim have great gfx also?:) Sharing resources between physics and grpahics is the real skill in sim programming.

    Iracing is good – the on track feeling + the tracks, but nothing innovative as yet, in fact its a step backward in terms of features compared to n2003.

    the world super gt mod for gtr2 is free and seem more appealing.

    next one from simbin: race of champion: the game

    at least some people love to buy the same old game all over again under a different name.. sigh.

    7 new tracks = hours of game play. Not 4 or 8 hours like most new games but many hours. I am buying it and i am glad they are selling it.

    that is an S60 in there right? should be 5 new models then. or are you guys not counting the fake Merc?

    i am quite annoyed that once again, they’ve neglected to fix the nose of the alfa, still looks like it ran straight into a brick wall. the real car is much smoother and lower (and thus sexier)
