Thanks to Simbin, I will be able to present you a full review on their newest STCC – The Game simulation in a few days time.
To keep you entertained until then, here is a first batch of screenshots taken during my first spins with the game. The screenshots show both the STCC cars and the Chevrolet Camaro Cup, racing on three different tracks. Enjoy!

I bought a (wrongly prized
) boxed version bundled with Race07, and I think its worth the money. The tracks are twisty and fun, and the Camaros are like boats. In a good way.

You would have thought marketing lessons would have been learnt after the disaster that was the Steam release of GTR Evolution!
But no, several weeks after a boxed version has been available in Sweden (who will post abroad), we die of boredom/impatience!
Personally, I gave up on the waiting game and ordered yesterday from:-

Some people need to read up on Steams history, why it has been successful, why it is used, and why more and more developers are considering Steam now days.

Steam is not a publisher, it’s a content delivery system – it’s not Steam’s fault if a game isn’t (yet) available on it.
It’s pretty likely that the boxed version of this title will only be available in Sweden, which is a pretty simple marketing decision, and the lack of a Steam release so far will just be a part of the contract with the boxed version’s publisher. There will always be a period of exclusivity over a download version to maximise early revenue – it’s actually marketing sense, not poor marketing!
Nothing sinister going on here, and if you’re desperate you can always purchase from Sweden anyway.
