Simbin has released a demo of their STCC – The Game simulation on Steam today. The demo lets you try the Peugeot 308 at Mantorp Park, giving you an idea of what Swedish touring car racing feels like.
The game will be released in Sweden on Friday, hopefully a release on Steam will follow soon. Until then, check out the demo to decide if STCC – The Game is for you.

No worth buying, definitely not worth buying. I have Race07 & GTRe now, STCC does not offer anything compelling other then that is base on another league. It should drive the same as most Race07 counterpart besides the improve interior etc. and unless you are crazy on those monster V8 Camaro’s. But Still DEFINITELY not WORTH BUYING

For you perhaps, but for me it is. More (7) new tracks than GTR Evo, various new touringcars which are a great addition for online racing. So for me its DEFINITELY WORTH BUYING ;)

hm…ok in the end you should decide by your self whats worth for you!
but in my opinion, the update will be worth to buy because of the additions…and mainly the stcc game itself is for those of the folks out there which bought no race07 or gtr-e and live in scandinavian countries…all others will buy the update and that will not cost the world ;)

I know nothing about the STCC but I’m really looking forward to this expansion. 6 new cars and 7 new tracks for half the price of a full game is fine for me. The fact that it is a real series also adds something.
Since this is sim racing fan site its great we have some sim racing fans as well as those who don’t seem to like racing sims.

Very nice looking car & track. Seems to have a little less grip than the WTCC cars which is fun! Shame they dont seem to have modeled the long version of Mantorp park. Not seen that layout converted from RD2 to any other sim either.

I get this soon, CDON told that they’ve already put it in post.

Nobody has to pay 2 or 3 times for Race 07: both the expansions come in 2 packages, Race + Exp or just the Exp.

Montoya, please put a registration requirement on this site, too many anonymous trolls are springing up.

I´m not sure that would help unless there’s a lenghty sign-up proccess involved.
And signing up just to leave a comment is maybe asking for too much, don’t you think? :)

I’m all for registration. The comment section of this site has become a joke with trolls.

Agreed on the registration. The trolls and ‘Anonymous morons’ are degrading the value of the comments, and a simple registration would at least allow you to ban people who misbehave on a regular basis.

I do agree to. Also because no-one can make posts under my name, and everyone is recognizable.
