New Boobs to bring back viewers, Smart plan Darin.

Shawn and Darin said that she has a news background. She will start to get the hang of the timing and slow down her talking a bit. She’s used to having to deliver a ton of news information in a very short time before the next commercial. Give her a chance to settle in. I think she’s going to be really good. It will also be great experience for her, learning some other types of broadcasting.

put the script right next to the camera so when she reads it doesn’t look to weird with her looking away so much. Also she should really slow it down a bit like most said here. Overall I can already taste a little more professionalism in the videos probably that she brought with her experience which is a good thing just dont overdo it.

Just picture how weird it would be if they got a guy co host that looked
like he did not play driving simulators or did not come across
as knowledgeable in the subject area. everyone would rip the … out of them.

I’m sure over time this new host will get better and be more natural and
casual with them as they build some chemistry , in some ways having an outsider perspective can be good , as they can be someone to explain things to thus also explaining things to the audience.

Personally I would have loved to have seen a alien or near alien racer co host or at least a high skill level racer as that would be good for giving another level of depth to reviews or the conversation.

Not that Darren and Sean are bad sim racers in fact they seem to be very competent , just not that top level. Out of all the simracing you tube channels there content and coverage is probably the best due to the fact that they are very much into the hobby / have a passion for it.

Anyway its not easy to make constant content and I’m sure over time this new presenter will get into the swing of things and help with the production of the show allowing for more content to be produced.

Was Jessica a sim racer? Did she have a rig in her house? Was she fast on the track? I doubt it. She was a sweet heart and was enjoyable on the show. I think Cristy is the same.
In regards to her interest in racing/sim racing: Her license plate says “The Stig”. Uh… Hello? LOL

I would say the same for jessica , at first she came across as a token women , like I said once they spend more time working together there will be some chemistry and it wont seem so strange presumably she will get sucked into the dark world of sim-racing as well, as is what happened with jessica.

As for having “the stig” as a license plate ,there are millions of people that watch top gear and have a passing interest in motor sport , that is not the same thing as having an active interest in computer games simracing , VR, Actual racing of cars , physics and haptic technology.

Considering how bad the ‘show’ itself normally is, yes.

If you want women on the internet there are about fifty bajillion of them if you look in the right place. So really, what does it matter what she looks like?

She sounds great, just like a presenter should.
She is gorgeous too. A keeper i hope :)

The most important thing is during these tough austerity times, at least they are employing locals, maybe they should have employed you, you did say you need to put your words to video ;)

It’s all just damage control to gloss over Darin’s behaviour anyways. His latest was harder to wash under the bridge as this time he went public rather than his usual calling people names, etc by PM and email and of course at iRacing especially people finally saw the true Darin Gangi exposed.

Darin is QUITE well known for his PMs. I’ve gotten a few myself so know it’s a fact. They;re quite funny really, especially the “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!??!” part and the explanation that he is a BIG ceWEBrity. His latest blowup is nothing new for him, just public this time, so yeah, a fact.

Yoou must have missed his antics. He has been a nasty man in public too. I saw a clip of him on the start of the new show but I didnt see what he said. It looks like he went off the rails completely.

Ah. That’s cool. I just disagree which is okay of course as I feel the point of discussing IS that we can have differing opinions. No problem there. I do honestly think though it partly is and is also why Darin wasn’t on as I suspect he’s hiding until his latest rant blows over.

My guess is that they’ve been working on getting a new co-host for a while since it adds to the show. You can’t pull one out of thin air. But I must admit, I’ve never tried. :) Anyway. It’s OK to disagree as you mentioned.

That could be true also and still be damage control as Darin has over time been spiralling more and more out of control and possibly Shaun was seeing this coming eventually. Also, both of them seem to be under the delusion it’s real “TV”. lol.

Truth is I feel bad for Darin as I hope he hasn’t had his real life job affected by his online behaviour and delusions. Or worse that his friends (I guess it possible he has them.) and family being affected by it.
