The guys over at InsideSimRacing.tv have shown us how to build sim rigs on the cheap a bunch of times. Now, the guys review Matthew Norcross’ Sim Fix SR1 DIY rig.

Matthew provides all the materials to build your own sim rig on a shoestring budget as his kit sells for just $60 on eBay.

    Hmm a bit to homemade look……..nothing i would want in my gaming room….
    + if i wanted to make my rig on wood, i would find my own wood, to be sure the quality was ok.

    I think these kind of rig reviews are, more than anything, a good way to point out that everybody can build his own rig, cheap. I like wooden rigs, when they’re painted and tagged with decals they get this 80′s style amusement park look.

    I do think that even a DIY rig should not solely be build around your own body measurements. After all, making it more universal is not that hard and all part of the DIY fun for me, and it’s good fun to see a friend (and his kids) come over and enjoy a great time in it too.
