Surprised about to see an SRT review on VirtualR after his controversial words.
Personally, I don’t like to see his videos, specially on my preferred SimRacing Blog.

What words were those?

Then go and start your own blog if you don’t like it.
I think it is great that (if it’s the case which I hope) they’ve come to terms again because the simracing community was already very shattered since the departure of RSC (and by that I mean the old RSC).
Hopefully this is a step to once again unite the simracing community and stop the unnecessary arguments between people.

Something magical happened to me with GT5 yesterday – I won a car which I actually could use in career! (truck for IA licence)

I don’t need to start my own blog, cause I like VirtualR.
I don’t like some people of SRT come here with his arrogant attitude.

I’m not telling what must appear or not on VirtualR. Only saying what I don’t like. That’s all.

Cant we just build a bridge and get over it?
I havent been following SRT since Darin’s brain explosion “incident” but the facts are he has apologised and SRT are no longer affiliated with SRW. So yes mistakes were made, things were said, but at the end of the day common sense prevailed.
The majority of this community are male….so lets act like it instead of bickering like highschool girls. Just a thought.

After Darins misbehavour here, I stopped watching SRT.
Why can’t we keep this arrogant person away from this great place? He insulted people and showed his real face.

Everyody has it´s own opinion. Why can´t we keep some users away from here? Don´t know what Darin said. But I am annoyed by some people here and they are annoyed by me and we are still here ;)

You are not able to pick the users… but you are able to decide about the content of a website.

No offense, it’s all good to me. Just reminded me of an old discussion we had here and some….
But never-mind, never say never.
I have never seen a SRT episode since, but it’s probably due to a slow internet connection or lack of time. I won’t watch this one either because I have no ps3 and no GT5.

I don’t know whether Pau here wrote intentionally offensive using my guest name, so to derogate. I would not have said that, and to prove how easy it is to write under someone’s individual aspect I’ll be using Big Ron’s nickname. I’m not fond of this new comment system Montoya, haven’t been since the day you started using it, leaves a door open for abuse and misconduct.

I will consider posting as Guest from now on, maybe it would be a good solution to implement so that a visitor/unregistered can post only under the name Guest.

Darin behaves like some kind of spokesman of the simrace community. He came here to tell everybody that he is BIGGER (not much more substance in his rant). I don’t think that he represents simracing properly.

Stella, he gets donations he has ad banners, it doesnt cost that much to run a web site, seriously that is hilarious you dont care if he sells out, no reguard for the sim community. 

He said himself he wouldnt sellout the Hypocrite, I liked how this site was unbiased, buts its going swiftly to the dogs. 

People are shytes for having opinions, meh its fine I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

How exactly am I “selling out” by posting their videos?

SRT is not affiliated with SRW anymore, that was my main issue with them. Darin & I have got past the issues from back then, the community is too small for us to stay devided over old conflicts.

Nobody forces you to watch their videos, you can easily ignore all SRT postings.

And regarding the “Dollar Signs”: Running a website like this costs money..the servers cost money, the comment system you´ve just used costs money etc…. not to mention the countless hours that go into running this place each and every month.

I don’t do sponsored posts or anything like this, all I use to make money are the advertising banners that are clearly identifiable as such.. advertisments are never hidden in content. Would I like VirtualR to be ad-free? Of course… is that a realistic option? No.

Oh, and as far as donations go: Since the beginning of July (almost six months ago) nine people have donated… I really hate to destroy your illusion that I somehow make a killing running this site…

Regardless of what he said, virtualr viewers, views are worth something, why would ISI, Simbin & Slightly Mad reply to comments here, if they where  worthless, just my 10 pennies worth ;)

Oh and give Rob a break, he’s providing a good service
