Great review, seems like it makes the 911 turbo a tad pointless at that price point

One of the things I like about my G25 pedals is the ability to take them out of the case and hard mount them individually in what ever position I want. Even after they adjusted the pedals the brake was still not offset enough from the gas for heal toe. If they could get maybe .5in more it would be perfect.

i might have to consider that carrera wheel as an upgrade from my old DFP… seems pretty nice bang for the buck.

Yeah it seems so. The 911 turbo has just two advantages. Leather on the wheel and belt driven..

It is also quieter, has more torque and comes with a sequential shifter.

More torque? But it has the same FFB engine?
And it’s quiteter because of the belt, and because of the belt I think the FFB is smoother as well.

Same motor yes, but that doesn’t mean they will both have the same power applied to your hands. One is gear and one is belt. I am just going off what they said in the review. They said it had less power then the 911 Turbo and even a tad less then the G25.

Nice wheel, but awful gear whine.

Those pedals seem great. Will go nice with my G25 which does have its own great pedals but these seem a step further up and you can’t go wrong at the price.
Yeah bad gear whine on the wheel, but as they said, for the price its a steal.

the annoing noise of the ffb gears is the most horrible sound i’ve ever heard, coming from a wheel. seems to be even much more louder than my budget logitech formula force ex.
i was really interested in this wheel. but now :-( my girlfriend and my neighbors will shoot me, if i will get on their nervs with this noisemaker

I’m more interested in the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Wheel. I wonder how long until they get one of those to try out.

Actually, thinking about it, this is more of a wheel for a girl sim racer.
I say that because it whines a lot, has plastic parts and works well in the bedroom.
Oops there goes political correctness out of the window.
