Carlomaker and F1Dave have released a new version of their popular Spotter Plugin for rFactor. Version 2.17 is fully Windows Vista compatible, getting rid of compatibility issues in previous versions.
The Spotter Plugin is a mighty tool, giving you a customizable spotter that keeps you informed while you´re on track including lap times, gaps and other useful stuff. Using voice-recognition, you´re even able to ask your spotter for specific information.

I helped in part in the development of this last update and I know for a fact that using the PTT (push to talk) option nullifies any voice activation input you may say. Click off the option to use PTT and it should start to recognize your voice commands.
After you’ve trained the voice command you’ll find that this add-on plug-in works like a dream and creates such immersion that you’ll actually think you have a crew chief standing on the pit box.
