Team LMT has released a new version of the Singapore Grand Prix Circuit for rFactor. Based on TommyChampion’s version of Singapore, the LMT version features quite some changes.
The track comes with a new, realistic lightning system, new AIW, new cameras as well as new track and building textures. The track is still in beta and everybody is encouraged to improve it as they wish as long as proper credits are taken care of. Below is a preview video, showing you what to expect of the download.

Tracks pretty good, but pitlane entrance needs to be put in correct place and adding crowds to the grandstands.

Track looks awesome.
Just one question, where did you download those arms from ? The ones in my RFT08 mod looks terrible when you compare them with these.

LTM created rf mods for DTM and F1 (2006, 2007 and 2008). No mod has ever been released for public so far. Normally, a mod ends up in the trash at the end of a season. The LMT 2007 mod includes all cars with all aerodynamic updates during the season as well as all skins, helmets and tracks. The mod was finished in october 2007.
However, there are good reasons to keep to this tradition and that´s why we won´t release any mod in the future

What are those reasons?

First of all a big thank you for this great track!
I also feel sorry (for myself, haha) that we cannot enjoy the, to the eyes, nice looking LMT 2008 mod. And in this I have to agree with Stabiz…
Remus; what are the exact reasons to not release it, cause your answer doesn’t provide a real answer to the question. Not that you are forced to answer, but this doesn’t make sense (to me at least).
Again, no hard feelings, you guys put the work in it and make your own decisions. But I realy am interested why everyone is teased by screens and so and then get to hear that it is a internal mod….
Greetz,

They dont want to release it,i mean they can give it to you if u pay em xD,coz the drivers of their league are paying to drive,so i think that’s the reason

Many guys ask me, if they can pay for the modification, but nobody could really buy it. We have very hard physics and we handle without driving assistance (no clutch, etc…). We have more than 1000 aspirants for two or free cockpits in one season. There are many reasons why LMT does not release any modifications.
One example is exclusiveness. The other reason is that LMT uses stuff from other teams, which never been released. These teams gave us permissions for it, but only in use for virtual-racer – not for publicity. I’m sorry guys.

Just tried out the track. Graphically it looks very nice indeed. Layout seems good too.
There’s two things that I wanted to point out. I think the bumps at the end of that first long straight are too much. In real life that would knock your fillings out and seriously unbalance the car. I think they need smoothing out by quite a bit.
I tested this with MMG F1 2007 PE V2.0 mod and the car is not handling hitting those high kerbs on either side of the chicane (dunno what turns they are). On the out lap the car hit the right side and spun violently. On the first hotlap I tried to bounce over the left hand side but the car didn’t like it and jumped off it into a spin. I turned around and went over that left side high kerb and the car just stopped and got stuck on it leaving me wheel-spinning in the air. The cars in the new MMG mod are the correct distance off the ground so I think this track might prove a problem for this mod when its out.
Maybe if the kerbs are cut down in height by about 50% it would fix it. Right now they seem rather high as they look to have 2 seperate elevations on them.
Or maybe its just a case of hitting them right. Threading through the kerbs in order to avoid hitting them is quite a cost in lap time and Im not sure if the cars were going that in the real race.
Aside from those two observations, the track is a great piece of work with very nice looking surroundings.

Can I tell what can you do with your high-exclusive-mega-ultra private club’s internal mod? And your screens too?
You should keep those so “internal and private” as your mod.

almost every league is driving without any aids :D so this isnt a reason ^^
and u think your mod isnt free to download? haha, even ctdp 06 beta was sometimes free to load (not officel )

Wil – They have no right to produce there mod for you? If they keep the mod for themselves then so be it. Sure the statement about physics isn’t fully justified. But I am lead to believe they have developed their physics over a period of years. Refineing them to try to get as close to reality that they perceive it to be. And by showing screenshots of there mod and be proud of it, is up to them too. It might be ‘teasing’ us. But correct me if I am wrong, but there is no contract saying they should give something out for people because you want it?
Anyway, just want to thank LMT again for adding there input into this track and look foward for the final v1.0 version.

Ryan, you are a great gentleman but for me all these teasing stuff followed by the statment that their mods are trashed after the end of their season are unaceptable.
THey dont have any contract or obrigation for the community or general public but so if they dont wanna share their work why should they teasing us with their damm exclusive mod?
Why not keep their arrogance and proud for themself?
Cheers

+1 wil
remus if you want to keep your work for private prupose, so keep it for yourself or your league and stop teasing.Dot.
It’s funny to see this guy (remus) going on every forums showing is work just to say that he trashed it season after seaseon.
remus look for fanboy’s and maybe one day he’ll be kind enough to throw us and old bone (2006 or maybe 2007) or a finished track.
More, stating everywhere that they have the “king physics” for their mods without letting the community testing it, it’s just stupid.
Cheers too wil.

No remus, you don’t gave reason … except that it is for private use, so once again keep it for yourself and don’t tease the community anymore on every forum.
And now “BTT yourself” please, if you want to go childish …
Cheers remus.
