Simbin Mega Bundle Now on Steam

Simbin has released a mega bundle off all their titles on Steam.

A few days ago, Simbin gave owners of existing boxed titles the possibility to add them to Steam. Now, the studio has launched a new mega bundle on Steam that combines all of the studios titles – Including GTR2!

The bundle sells for 34.95€ and includes the following titles, ranging from Simbin’s maiden GTR title to the latest RACE Injection release:

• GTR – FIA GT Racing Game
• GT Legends
• GTR2 – FIA GT Racing Game
• RACE – The WTCC Game
• RACE 07
• GTR Evolution
• STCC – The Game
• RACE Injection

All titles can of course be purchased separately as well, this is noteworthy as it is the first time GTR2 is available on Steam as well.

Unfortunately, GTR2 can’t be bought off Steam with exactly the same content as the boxed offers as the digital version comes with Porsches and Ferraris removed from the title, presumable due to licensing issues. The same restrictions also apply to owners of a boxed GTR2 copy that add the title to Steam.

damn they will sell old things forever, just rotate the games, better to create something new

    • Marco Hooghuis

True, but for that they need money. Besides, the selling of old titles on steam isn’t done by developers, but by publishers 😉

      • Michael

But, the publisher is simbin. Not that it matters.

Selling their existing games is, of course, fine.

What really sucks is the number of times they’ve effectively rebadged the same old game as though it’s a new game.

Are they even actually developing the new games?

    • pez2k .

RaceRoom Racing Experience is in closed beta at the moment, it is still being developed.

    • Philip Antonia

There are new Sim racers joining our communities all the time (like my son and nephew) so it’s good for them to have the oportunity to purchase these gr8 sims. Simbin aren’t forcing the rest of us to buy them and they won’t have wasted any development time doing it, so what’s the problem with it?

    • Craig Cookson

Good question. Of course i realise they are developing new games, but how many times are they going to repackage and re-release the same tired old cars and tracks from the same tired old titles in the same tired old ISI engine.
      Please STOP!!

  • PetrolheadDen

Well, I already have them all but nice to see as maybe there’ll be some new blood in the GTR2 and GTL areas.

  • GamerMuscle

If you are tempted to buy this hold off until over x mass as it will likely go on sale for %30-%75 off in the steam Christmas sales, that happen every year.

GTR evo is very active on-line still and if you like BTCC its very good.

  • Pieter Colignon

It sucks that their are no porsches and ferarris in gtr2, it ruined the experience

    • PetrolheadDen

      They can be enabled.

      • Matt Simons

        do tell

      • PetrolheadDen

I’m not sure if that’s breaking Montoya’s rules so if you get in touch with me elsewhere or look about NoGrip, there is a thread.

  • Marcus Caton

This continued whoredom will really hurt them with their new stuff.
