Simbin Announces Aquila CR1 Sports GT License

Simbin has announced their next licensing agreement as the Danish Aquila CR1 Sports GT will be featured in an upcoming title from the Swedish studio.

The V8-powered Aquila CR1 Sports GT is the latest brainchild of Aquila Racing Cars, a Danish race car constructor that was founded back in 2003. Inspired by Le Mans Prototype design, the car is aimed at track day & racing school usage, it’s not homologated to compete in any major international sports car series.

It remains to be seen which title this car will be used in, Simbin only mentions their “current project” in the original article. Back in March when Simbin was looking for new beta testers, the studio already mentioned to be working on several projects at the time.

I’m hoping we’ll get some announcements of proper racers from Simbin soon, we have two trackday cars, a one-off VLN car, and only the Vette is an actual internationally-homologated GT. It’s feeling less likely that GTR3 will properly cover any one series like the previous two games.

Very Cool… also Very Cool Montoya; introducing me to a new word… using “homologated” as I figured it meant Approval… I was wondering exactly!  So for those like me… here is the definition:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Homologation (Motorsports)

In motorsports, homologation is the approval process a vehicle, race track or standardised part must go through to race in a given league or series. The regulations and rules that must be met are generally set by the series’ sanctioning body.[1]
The word is derived from the Greek homologeo—literally “same words”—for “agree”.The names of the Ferrari 250 GTO, 288 GTO, Pontiac GTO, and Mitsubishi GTO, where “GTO” stands for “Gran Turismo Omologato” (“Grand Touring, Homologated”), use the term explicitly.[2]In racing series that are “production-based” (that is, the vehicles entered in the series are based on production vehicles for sale to the public), homologation requires not only compliance with a racing series’ technical guidelines (for example, engine displacement, chassis construction, suspension design and such) but it often includes minimum levels of sales to ensure that vehicles are not designed and produced solely for racing in that series. Since such vehicles are primarily intended for the race track, practical use on public roads is generally a secondary design consideration, so long as government regulations are met.

Running is the most popular sport, running both weight loss and can
exercise, but how to get running good for us it has two aspects, that
is, the running of sports equipment and running exercise, so we should
choose athe right running shoes, and plan an appropriate amount of
exercise, the Nike Free and Nike Air
    Max
running shoes for running, and hope that we have time to
exercise more, as our lives will become more healthy and beautiful.
