The Carpe Noctem Design Group has released a new version of their semi-fictional Série Internationale Du Mans mod for rFactor. The mod is loosely based on the American and European Le Mans Series, bringing us plenty of semi-fictional prototypes to race with.
After the former version has stirred up some controversy, permission issues have been sorted out. The mod consists of various prototypes all made by different authors. JPBS has pitched in the Audi R8, Dome and Pescarolo, from RSDG comes the Lola B160 and Ibne has agreed on his Porsche RS Spyder to be used.
All cars in the mod are used with full permission, the complete version of the mod (GT1 and GT2 cars included) will stay restricted to league-us only because of permission problems.

I like this sportscar mod, really nice cockpit views better than in gtr2, some nice skins and engine samples also, not sure how real they are but who cares. its fast and fun

Great mod! Congrats to the Carpe Noctem Team, great to see this mod make its way to the news at VirtualR … The attention to detail in this mod is excellent :)

This is the same old version as the last one.
Nothing new in the 222Mb download from the previous version. They just added a couple of paragraphs about the permission they have to copy the cars from other mods.
