Sebring by Virtua_LM – New Preview

Virtua_LM has released a new preview shot of their much-anticipated Sebring track project that will bring yet another high-quality track to the simulation.

The new shot shows the famous endurance racing venue at dusk with some fireworks going off in the background.

Located in Florida, Sebring is one of the USA’s well known motorsport venues, hosting the annual 12 hour sports car race in March. The track is a rather though one as the raceway is located on a former airfield, most of the circuit utilises concrete pavement with plenty of bumps that have already knocked out the bolts and pieces of many cars.

    Pigs will fly, i purchased rfactor after seeing screenshots of this PrototypeC mod, and that was six years ago.

    Trying not to troll here, but it the dusk lighting and JPEG compression isn’t making this look that great. Needs some track lighting or occlusion which isn’t supported.

    I think the FOV need to be decreased too, as the scale looks too miniature from that angle.

    the lighting is OK because the shot is taken like 30 minutes after the sun went down…. as i see it :)

    Oh my God! Virtua_LM hath spoken! This is a sacred moment. Now we have to wait another aeon until coming of another preview…

    btw I really hope my grandchildren will live to see a release of Prototype-C mod! I really do.

    Modding is for a modder’s personal satisfaction, to overcome a challenge. And to get praise from that work. These guys aren’t paid to crank out stuff, so it takes time.

    Ive liked Sebring since first racing on it in SCGT (oh the good old days)
    To see Virtua-LM doing it makes me go all tingly. ;)

    virtualr.net is becoming too much visually polluted! the main news box has become an all iRacing ad :(   worse it puts down all other sims.

    I love SCGT! It was one of my first PC games. I wish it ran on Windows 7 without issues.

    VLM tracks are some of the best except for the poor ai. Hopefully this one will be better.

    the best moddeld Sebring Track wont suggest Reality, if the RoadAsphalt-Colour Key is wrong.

    Thats very important around a perfekt SebringTrack
