Sean Johnston – From Virtual to Real Racing
Leo Parente of the Drive Youtube channel has conducted a very interesting interview with young racing talent Sean Johnston whose roots go back to virtual racing.
Like thousands of others, Sean has competed in the Nissan GT Academy, starting out with a time trial event on the Playstation 3. His talent allowed him to participate in the GT Academy World Finals where he finished 2nd.
What makes his story interesting is that even though he did not became part of Nissan’s gang of GT Academy winners that are racing in sports car series around the world, Sean was still able to jumpstart a racing career as he’s now competing in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup series.
