I remembered it was only missed a few times. Talking to someone before the race this year I wanted to verify the years and when doing that I learned that F1 ran in 1959. I never knew that. It's no surprise it didn't last in the city. hahaha. Anyways, the 12h race has run from 1952 0 2008 and only missed 1974 due to the energy crisis. That is amazing.
