Who of you remembers the Formula One management games? Back in the nineties, a sub-genre of racing simulations emerged, putting players in the shoes of a Formula One team manager. You had to contract drivers, find sponsors and made the right decision when it came to strategy and development. Games like Microprose Grand Prix manager were rather popular, the genre died pretty quickly nevertheless.

German TV network RTL is looking to relive it now, planning to release their Race Team Manager in March. It is yet unknown if the game will feature real life data and teams, RTL’s ties as Formula One broadcaster make this at least possible. What is known is that former Formula One driver Christian Danner was heavily involved in development of the game and will be featured in it as well.

The game will hit the shelves in mid-March, its unknown if an English-version is even planned. Check out the screenshots below and maybe some of you will dig out the forgotten gems like Grand Prix Manager after seeing them ;)
