The guys over at InsideSimRacing.tv have released a new video review, checking out the RSeat RS Formula Rig.

The RS Formula is designed to offer the same seating position as pilots in open wheel race cars experience. The rig sells for $1600, check out the video below to see if Darin & Shaun think it’s worth it!

Ok. 1600 for a single seat only…..And how much are they thinking to sell?

Looks nice and comfortable , not so sure about the price though !

It seems more suited to using 3x 42-47″ screens at a tiny bit more distance or a curved projector screen so that you don’t get the issue of the wheel blocking the screen so much.

Its a shame its so hard to acquire F1 style seats on a budget.

I contacted RS and they said that they do not have this triple monitor stand shown on ISRT (the ‘bridging one’). Only a single post one, that you have to put way up in front of the sim chassis. I will see if I can get ahold of Shaun Cole or Darin Gangi to see where they purchased their triple monitor stand.

    That is self-made…

Vesaro may have an option, worth contacting them to see what they’ve got.
