it’s R3E btw, but thanks for posting! There are a lot of fantastic cars among them, I think SimBin have listened to us the sim racers. Although still hoping to see some cars from Italy (Alfa Romeo/Fiat/Lancia/Maserati) Ferrari would be too expensive I guess, same story with Porsche. We’ll have to wait what SimBin will bring to us.

With all the news from AC, iRacing etc i 100% forgot Simbin existed.
Maybe that’s a good thing, i wont rage anymore at their whoring anymore.

I’ve to agree, although I’ve made a list with all the cars/tracks shots from insider.simbin. The GTR3 content is somehow related to R3E, but not included in this list. (Mid-Ohio/Nürburgring-Norschleife/Laguna Seca/Aston Martin DBR9) We’ll have to wait for more info. And more updates about more models.

Too bad I can’t even get a beta key. IMO, members with a good amount of games made by SimBin should be able to get a beta key. I even feel a bit disrespected in not having a key while some users that couldn’t care less about this kind of games, and just heard the name SimBin yesterday, already have the key.

I prefer the approach of Kunos with AC & NKPro.

Looks like a very good list, although I would have guessed #14 to be an MC12 GT1.

Agreed, finally a (modern) game where it seems you’ll be able to do this.

If this is what the list is aiming for, lets hope the car performance is somewhat balanced for cars competing in the same races or there’s a system in place to make it so there is still some variety on the starting grid.

I’ve said this before, but I hope simbins F-2-P model is good & also successful because it should mean more updates to correct that sort of thing if the first or second attempts at balancing are not. If they get those things right along with a similar size playerbase of the GTR-evo titles they should be on to a winner with RRE-3

is the track that private track in Australia?

will the tracks be laser scanned? any news on that? going after iRacing’s Cadillac was a low lol!

What bug? Have you checked the closed beta forums? I had some beta related problems but where able to resolve them all after help from the forum.

The Ascari track is located in Spain, a lot of car tests and reviews are made there. From what ive seen its a quite nice track with good variation of corners and straights! It has been designed taking famous corners from other race tracks around the world.

I’m in the closed beta and I can tell you that each car is modeled very well with lots of details and completely unique feel and handling. Sounds are epic for every single one as well.

Really looking forward to some of the more classic cars!

Anyway rFactor 2 fulfils perfectly my needs, so I can wait without any problem. :)

I have an intermittent issue when i start R3E without my wheel connected (i think) it will give some Microsoft error messages at start-up. But if I restart windows and start it with my wheel connected it starts up fine.

rF2 is great fun as well. But recently I’m enjoying R3E more than rF2, but you cant go wrong with either one. Both great sims.

Read through the SimBin Insider posts, they mentioned in relation to the McLaren license that there will be several “McLarens” included.

I really hope this means the F1 roadcar and/or GT race car! If they nail the sound on that (like they have with pretty much all of the ~15 cars included so far in the beta) it would be epic! :)

Agreed, I think this might be the first proper sim that has depth in its series without either locking them down to just one or two, or having hundreds of questionable quality cars like Shift, Forza, or Gran Turismo. Picking a segment of the market and serving it well should translate to success. This will be one to watch.

How certain is it that it’s the World Challenge CTS-V Coupe? The current coupe has a silver livery in front, it’s the older sedan that had the black paint on the front.
