rFactor Event – Promo Video

A few weeks ago when VirtualR picked up the story on Michael Schumacher’s rFactor-powered simulator, it was first mentioned that the simulator was using rFactor Event, a special version of the simulation for the use in public simulators.

Below is a promo video of rFactor Event, showing some of the version’s unique features in action. Changes to the normal version include a new & simplified menu system that can be navigated by using the steering wheel and pedals as well as other new bits & pieces.

    Anyone know if that’s a CXC Simulations unit? Looks like it. I tried one of those last year at Long Beach, and it was magical. It’s atop my list for purchases when I hit Lotto. :)

    It is in fact a CXC Simulations Motion Pro II Simulator. When are you going to come visit us and drive again!

    That’s the software I was talking about when the story of Michael Schumacher’s Center dropped. He’s got rF Event going with newly modeled ISI F1 cars. There are only a few companies in North America licensed to offer rF Event…I do know that CXC is one of them!

    Jessica is not included. ;)
