In related news, ISI’s push for improved rFactor 2 stock content does not end at releasing new content versions, the company is also hiring talented staff from the community.

The latest known modder to join the ISI ranks is tuttle, who released an amazing beta of his Top Gear Test Track back in February.

The corvette says it’s damaged and as usual I have no idea how to handle the various mods that need the previous version. The Vette says it’s missing sounds and AI.

Would be nice if ISI adressed the shader problem with build 198 instead of updating content. Still racing build 156…

Indeed, at the moment the modules system doesn’t seem to be working as it should, I’ve had issues with the newest clio cup update being buried away in the menus rather than being a select-able series like it used to be in a earlier version of the package.
I also can’t remove Malaysia 1.2 as some of the packages use it, even though we’re now on version 1.4 of the track.

I have a question and I’m wondering if anyone will be able to shed some light. It’s been a while since rfactor2 came out as a beta and we see little updates from time to time but for me nothing major in terms of it looking closed to being finished. So my question is this, Will it be any time soon that we see the full and finished product that is rfactor2 or is this a long thing that will run into next year or never get near to being finished?

    Holy Graal ;-))

to be honest, at some point they’ll slap a finished sticker on it and the mod community will have to actually create the game everyone wants.

rF2 I thinks just aiming to be a base platform, and there still seems to be a distinct lack of timetable to which ISI are working.
    Just a ‘when it done’.

You’ll know it’s finished when they release a demo version. ;)

I think its fantastic that they are looking to the most talented of the modders as extra employees. Hire the folks with the passion to do great work on their own, then you know they will really work their butts off when they are getting paid and produce quality content.
