Tomaz Stravs and eddy3spain have released their Renault Clio Cup 2008, bringing several Clio Cup seasons to rFactor.
The mod includes the 2006-2008 seasons of the Spanish Clio Cup as well as the 2008 seasons of the French and Slovenian series. The mod is fully Real-Feel compatible and comes with paint-able dash and helmet textures.
The Clio Cup utilises a cup racing version of the Renault Clio Sport, powered by two-litre 16 valve engine putting out more than 200hp and a six-speed sequential gearbox.

Looks awesome… I’m repairing my simulator system right now so I won’t be able to try them for a bit. Any feedback so far? How is the force feedback with real feel?

We have troubles with wheel: the wheel is shaking too much when we accelerate on the neutral position.. it is not very realistic..
We can’t use this mod for this reason.

Well, if someone knows how to fix the steering wheel, all help is welcome!
Using realfeel and leo plugins reduces the shake of the steering wheel anyway.

I’m using a G25 with realfeel and while the straightline strong vibes are there if Im not holding the wheel, I find it is reduced more by picking Low FFB in the vehicle upgrades.
Just a question though.. in the car setup menu, why is the handbrake pressure set to 295% by default ? Also is it just me or does the car understeer more when the handbrake pressure is reduced ? I know that sounds strange so maybe it was just cold tyres/brakes as I was on an outlap.
Took the car around Donington and it was fun. Rear end keeps you on your toea.

Loving these cars. Excellent hot hatch feel.
One thing I’ve noticed though is the Ai are a lot slower than most of my other mods at 100%. I know I can adjust it, but generally I can have a good fight with the Ai at 100%, but the Clio Ai is way too slow and I don’t get much time to fiddle around with settings to get them up to my pace
Any thoughts as to why?
Gr8 mod though guys
