It is a nice list, but most of them are in GTR2/GTR Evo.
And the track list isn’t excactly, well, big.
Such a shame that the F1 game will probably be on the same realism front.

I was glad of seeing such a nice modeled Jarama circuit, but after driving that BMW around it I thought the demo was a joke… not even Out Run physics (too fast in a corner and you go out of the track). You can’t feel the mass or inertia, and the control is stupidly non-realistic. I don’ like “Codemasters graphics” neither: yellow light everywhere and exagerated blooming. Too bad that next F1 game will be just that, a game.

Well, the HDR can be turned off, making the graphics a little more pleasant.
BTW, is your nickname Little Britain-inspired?

It’s not that bad, maybe some of the cars and tracks can be ripped to rf/gtr2/gtr evo

Didn’t know that about HDR, but I still dream of some kind of rfactor with GT5 graphics. At least I hope that circuits can be exported, even without “cool” lightning.
Yeah, I recently have finished third season of Little Brittain…

I liked the demo. The game is intended to be fun, challenging, not “the ultimate driving simulator”. It will – most probably – have a background story and, IMO, will be a very interesting choice, compared with the rest of the sims.
The thing that pleases me the most is the presence of the Nissan Skyline GT-R Z-Tune and the AE86. If I’m not mistaken, it is the first time the Z-Tune apears in a driving sim.

it’s not a sim though Korbin, it’s arcadey trash…

Ray, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That was my opinion. And, IMO, arcade isn’t always bad. Sure, I’d like a hardcore sim, where everything is set in place, where the tire temperature makes the difference between 1st and 15th place. But wouldn’t that kind of sim becomes frustrating for 99% of those who would try it ? Sure, it would be a milestone for the gaming industry…but not for the enduser, for the casual gamer. Let’s wait for the final product…play it…and THEN judge it’s flaws.
