Following yesterday’s RACE Pro DLC pack, Simbin has released even more content for their Xbox 360 racing title today.
The third download pack includes two new tracks as Estoril and Okayama are added to the simulation. The pack also brings new cars as the International Formula Master series and the 2008 WTCC season are included.
That means the pack pretty much includes the same content that will be coming to the PC with RACE On minus the muscle cars and the already available US tracks.
Content:
Okayama
Estroil
WTCC 2008 (Lada 110/Volvo C30 models)
International Formula Master
The pack can be download for 560 Microsoft points, follow this link for more info and download. Below is a preview video of the new content, showing the IFM car at Estoril and the Seat Leon TDI at Okayama.

Why did they never do this for GTR Evolution?

Because Race On is coming and I bet we will see these there too.

I believe he meant the lower cost extensions to the game which they are doing with RACE On via the marketplace.

Is that a sound bug with the Seat Leon? The transmission whine seems to be stuck at the same pitch.

@carbonfibre, it’s a diesel, that’s why it’s so quite.

Huh? The addons for RACE 07 i.e. GTR Evo, STCC and soon Race On, ARE low cost extensions which you can buy through STEAM, the PC equivalent of Marketplace.
Race On is equivalent to Expansion Packs 1 and 2.

Actually it isn’t as Spa & Mid Ohio have not been announced for Race On + when you convert points into money, your paying extra for each new iteration that Simbin produce for the PC.
I wasn’t complaining so don’t get your knickers in a twist

@EA: This is how a proper demonstration of a racing game must look!

Spa and Mid Ohio and those classic cars are in DLC pack number 3! So DW wasn’t talking aboput that pack.

Actually Spa and Mid Ohio are not part of Packs 1 and 2. Packs 1 & 2 will cost you 1360 units or $17 using the conversion factor quoted above. We don’t know the price of Race On expansion but I’m guessing $20 which isn’t that different, especially when Race On may well add extra features to Race 07.

DW made a good point, it seems that with every new addon or patch, Simbin improves the ‘base’ or ‘core’ of the game in one way or another, even though they may be small touches.

As a turbodiesel it probably uses only something like 2000-5000rpms, that’s why it sounds so weird compared to 6000-9000rpms of other WTCC cars.
