I havn’t re played it since it locked up saving a replay,so I had to restart console which in turn lost all my saved profile data in single player, meaning I lost all the cars I had unlocked(and I had completed all classes so it was a fair few)
Sort of cant be a**ed to do it all again, which means I am limited in the games I can join in multiplayer

I heard the FFB was pretty borked. You guys experiencing this? No mention of it in the change log.

I’ve only heard the one account of it though.

    - Improved deformation of cars

I wonder if this might make the “realistic” damage-setting to actually behave realistic. As it is right now, you can ram your car into walls and stuff over and over again and there’s pretty much no performance penalty at all. And if you manage to lose your front wheels the car will still drive and turn as if they were still there…
There also seems to be very little, if any, difference driving in dry or wet weather.

Ugh.. The game is a joke in its current condition. I hope they’ll sort it out eventually.

Are you kidding me? Just look at that list, and you KNOW there is more where that came from. Doesn’t matter to me cause I don’t own a console, but this title was *supposed* to be important. To be honest, I believe that Simbin is now in deep over their head.

They used to be a modding group, and now they’re in demand to hit nightmare deadlines; it’s evident that they need way more time to polish their products before they ship. The amount of bugs in their releases are increasing, and their physics development is also going down the tubes as well. They need to stop cranking out mod’s (sorry.. “expansion packs”), and really just put a ton of time into something very special.

I was hesitant to buy this game after looking at the reviews which overall gave it a solid C. After reading through a few forums which were mostly negative I still wondered if maybe people were being a bit too harsh. I went out and bought the game after reading a racing sim fan’s review in which he said, about racing games, it is the feel that matters and Race Pro feels great. They were right. I think some of the negativity stems from starting out with sub par cars. Just stick with it for a little while… once you get into the BMW’s and Vipers you’ll see. I have just about every racing game on the 360, and so far Forza 2, Grid, and Race Pro have been the most impressive. Dirt is not far behind. I played Forza and Race Pro tonight to compare the two and I thoroughly enjoyed both. I can say without a doubt Race Pro is a more than descent game. The driving modifications in Race Pro dwarf Forza 2 although Froza is a little prettier. Even with the bugs, most of which, if not all, are going to be addressed, Race Pro is still a very satisfying racing game. The in car view is fantastic BTW. My only complaint would be the collision with other cars, a bit glitchy, if they fix that the game is a solid B. I highly recommend it for any racing fan, especially with all the fixes in store. The way the wheels grip the pavement in this game will make you smile. Keep up the good work Simbin, just test a little more in the future. :-P Thanks for a great racing game. Only $39 bucks too. Awesome.
