The environments in every track I've seen so far look oversaturated and unrealistic and the lighting and shader effects dont look up to scratch compared to gt5/grid. The damage model is disappointing especially compared to grid. Having said all that, neither of those games are really sims so the important thing for race pro is the physics, which i guess we'll have to wait for the game release to find out. No doubt it's because of the controller, but hopefully they'll find a way to smooth that out before release. I honestly do think the engine looks a bit rough around the edges from the screens I've seen - I'm thinking Simbin have just used the gMotor engine as a base and have given it a bit of a face-lift. I remember seeing a couple of screenshots where like in the gMotor engine there are no shadows rendered in the rear-view mirrors for example.
