Gamersdye.com has new high-resolution preview material of Simbin’s RACE Pro simulation for the Xbox 360. Three brand new screenshots show the WTCC, WTCC Extreme and GT Pro class in action.
Furthermore, a new high resolution trailer has been released, including plenty of new gameplay scenes. Both the screenshots and the trailer confirm my guess about a more sophisticated damage model of the Lizard engine – Certainly a step up from the PC titles.

Looks very good. Look how they change the company slogan under their logo from: “GET REAL” to “GET THE GAME”

Get the game has always been the simbin company slogan ibyte, the Get Real slogan belongs to the GTR title.

It looks good and hopefully the physics feel will translate across to the console. That’s probably gonna be the hardest bit for them to do. More importantly though, just think what the next PC title could look like using the Lizard engine!!

Yeah, with higher resolution textures and maxxed out AA/AF this could look really sweet on pc.
I hope they will work on the engine further to add support for damage to the track (guardrails and such) and different materials (tirewalls not behaving like concrete) before release on pc tho.

That’s entirely untrue. Simbin has already confirmed new PC titles, there will even be another addon to the GTR Evolution/RACE07 platform.

If Simbin are seriously focusing on the road car class side of things with a high-powered, mix of cars then they wouldn’t have open wheelers in the game.
The current lineup will consist of WTCC, BTCC, GTs + road cars, but there is NO Aussie V8 Supercars (Holden and Ford) series included.:sad2:
This shows that Simbin is no different to Grid, Forza or Forza 2 as they both either have those crappy LMP1, LMP2 or the open wheelers.
