Since the E3 is in full swing, Simbin has released a first promotion video to get fans and the press excited about their upcoming RACE Pro simulation for the XBOX 360. Like usual, the promo video contains very little in-game footage but is interesting to watch nevertheless.
Furthermore, Gametrailers.com had the chance to catch up with Atari and released a developer walk through video. This one features plenty of in-game footage including a full lap at Monza as well as a first look at the sleak and simplified, console-like menu system.

^ Agreed.
Would’ve been nice to see some footage from the cockpit though really. Also, the guy does mention at the end of the second vid that it’s coming out in November.

Really! sorry to say, apart from some basic HDR and improved reflections, where is this looking ‘better’ than the PC version running the 5 year old Gmotor gfx engine?
shadowing is not exactly cutting edge either. hmmm, i was expecting a lot more from Lizard. If this is a sum total of what the new engine provides (I know its only a small low res clip) i’m not especially gagging for the 1st PC Lizard release. I suppose it has been ‘dumbed down’ to fit onto the XO’s limited memory etc. but still, it’s not a radical leap forward I expected????
Plus yep, that guys commentary and driving skill cracked me up…. “yeah, you’ve got to make sure you make every corner or you’ll be disqualified”,…..next corner, flies off into the gravel for the 5th time in 5 corners… hahaha

He means it has limits to it, not like LFS.
