Gametrailers has published an interview with Simbin’s Johal Gow who gives us an overview of what Simbin’s RACE Pro simulation for the Xbox360 will contain.
Even though the game will be released on a console, it looks like as Simbin is very serious in keeping up the full simulation approach. As a bonus, we can see first footage of Laguna Seca in the background, one of two brand new tracks to Simbin simulations.

It’s amazing graphic!
That’s better than GTR Evolution for PC.
hmmm…I don’t know why.
SIMBIN shold update graphic for GTR Evolution.
Because, almost PC are higher SPEC than Xbox360.
PC and G25 and GTR Evo is best feeling for me.
but…Graphic is cheap.

Shadows in cockpit look kinda poor..
Tracks seem to be done very well.
why not releasing them as an addon pack for gtr evo?

Can’t Simbin force MS to make G25(and other Logitechs) work on XO?

Compared with the two year old(!) Forza2 I’m not that much impressed concerning the graphics quality.
But no question, it’s very nice that you get cockpit view – which in Forza doesn’t exist at all.
But nevertheless good luck Simbin!

Sorry, what I forgot:
Perhaps the Xbox360 shows it’s age and it’s not possible to get both: high resolution cockpit-view and at the same time the graphics of Forza2/GT5…

If they were really serious of making the game for consoles, I would have thought they would go for the Playstation 3, as it supports all the Logitech wheels.
I will still buy the game, but the MS wheel is no comparison for any of Logitech wheels

Fanatec are bringing out a 360 wheel, apparently they’ve even given Simbin a prototype already so it’ll be fully supported in Race Pro. Don’t know much about their wheels though, and I’m not sure if I’m prepared to spend money on another wheel just for the 360. I’d rather they just added Logitech support.
Either way, the game’s looking good. Looking forward to giving the demo a go.

Fanatec has already made a wheel or the original Xbox. Tried it and I was very disappointed.
I have also tried the Porsche wheel for the PC and PS3 made with assistance from Fanatec, and while better still no comparison.
I agree the game is looking good, and I will buy it. I just feel that the experience will be nowhere near as good as it could have been due to the wheel choices available.
