Huh? ‘09 Cadillac CTS-V is included in RACE On – Simbin must have the license for it.

I am sure you are making a unannounced PC Sim with a new graphics engine. Make sure the graphics are really really mindblowingly awesome along with your usually reliable physics. Take help from Crytek, Nvidia and ATI, do whatever it takes to make it look like something only possible on PCs. The modders will do the rest, you just give an engine that is Ultra Powerful. Come on SimBin you can do it, forget the consoles they are not built for Sim racing, and only Very Big budget licensed cars carrying games sell on consoles, they have no appreciation for realism but we do. Don’t disappoint us with your next title after Race On, Good Luck for the future. We Know you can do it.

Evo was great fun but now it’s just past it IMO. I think I’m going to skip this and see what Simbin does next with the new engine.

Ok, NFS Shift looks much better, BUT! I don’t want getting scores after every bends that I leave without crash. I don’t want arcade speed feeling. I don’t want playing destruction derby on Nordschleife. I don’t want 3 laps (or 2 minute) races without practice and time trial. etc.
Race series graphics is enough for me, because drive feeling is better than every new racing games. I miss only thing: Com 8’s Nordschleife 2009. When will it come out?

Did I imply I didn’t like the graphics? I was referring to the actual CARS, not the detail or anything. The skins just don’t do it for me. I’m a huge fan of Evo, it’s my favourite sim, and like you it’s enough for me. Just think the skins are ugly as hell.

But then unless I’m very much mistaken and they’re much better than I imagine, I won’t ever drive these cars more than once anyway as I can’t stand muscle cars.

Whats this got to with NFS Shift? Graphics look awful in this, its like we’ve gone back 5 years. Releasing low-res previews, not sound marketing Simbin
And regardless of what you might say, immersion is an important part of any racing sim and graphical realism is a part of that along with physics and sound.

Cars look nicely done to me, actually.

Agree about the race feeling, which is indeed the most important….but I don’t get it, why it has to look less detailed than the 2 year old RACE’07?

The engine itself looks very good with full or high details on.

Still, I’ll buy this and I’m sure love it (Road America )
