RACE On – New High Resolution Artwork

Simbin has released new high-resolution versions of the Lada and Formula Master artwork screens that were previously released in low-res on their Facebook page.

RACE On has been announced to be released in September or October 2009, the title will include all RACE07 content and brand new stuff including the 2008 WTCC season, the Swedish Touring Car Championship, US muscle cars and the Formula Master series.

    The Lada looks better from this hi-res screens. Still think the angle makes it look to edgy, but I’m more confident that it looks more accurate than the pic suggests :happy: .

    Don’t get me wrong, but the textures and the models are really “downgrades” from those of RACE07(I am talking about the Lada, when comparing to the other touring cars in the game).

    Not trying to argue, cus you know more about modeling and texturing than I do, but… are you sure that the real Ladas just aren’t that ugly? :lol:
    It is definitely one of the ugliest race cars I have ever seen.

    Concerning the F.Masters. Does anyone know what season its going to be? Maybe we could guess a new track as a gifth coming???

    The track we can see in those screens is the new Imola, even if it seems to lack the new chicane they added during last months. :)

    Surely its the 2008 season – same as WTCC?

    The list of tracks is published – I’m not expecting any “gifts” we don’t know about :)

    That is the new Imola shown in the screens and it doesn’t lack any chicanes. If you look at the last picture you can clearly see the new pitbox and the new Variante Bassa. :wink: Nice screes bu the way. :grin:

    No: I’m not referring to the fact that we can see the main straight next to the new pitbox. I know that at the beginning the track was like that, but now it has changed again: I was there 12 days ago for the Superbike tests. :sd:

    They introduced again a chicane for motorbike races: the screen is not very clear, but it seems that the new chicane isn’t there. Considering that we are talking about 2008 season, not having the chicane would be right, though. :)

    if i am not mistaken, the Lada´s are Opel´s in disguise.

    They use the exact same engine as the Chevy’s, wich are Opel :P
