RACE On – First Patch Announced

Posted on December 23rd, 2009 in

Earlier today, Simbin has announced an upcoming patch for their RACE On simulation title. Released in October, RACE On introduced the 2008 WTCC season, the International Formula Master series as well as a bunch of high-power muscle cars.

The patch will be addressing various bugs that have been reported by the community. As usual, Simbin’s patch will be backwards-compatible, meaning that RACE07 / GTR Evolution & STCC – The Game owners will also benefit from the improvements coming with the update. A release-date has not yet been announced, the fact that the patch is already in heavy testing suggest that the release can’t be too far away though.

It’d be nice if the Muscle cars weren’t all made with identical templates with minimal differences. Being a simulation I would rather them be developed using, you know, real data, and stuff. The only thing I can see that’s spot on are the engines. The tire code is very odd as well.
