Race Driver GRID - Car Pack Announced

Codemasters has announced a car pack for their Race Driver GRID racing game. Xbox360 & Playstation 3 users will soon be able to download eight new cars.

The car selection includes famous race cars such as the Mclaren F1 GTR, the Nissan GT-R and the Volvo C30 as well as supercars such as the VW Nardo:

TVR Cerbera Speed 12
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
Honda S2000
Nissan GT-R (S-G2008)
VW Nardo
Pontiac Firebird Trans AM
Volvo C30

The pack will also include two new multiplayer events. Details on pricing have not yet been announced, information on if and when pc racers will be able to get the package is yet to come too.

Those designers must be crying when that much effort goes into making them look right, and at the same time behave like tug boats with Formula 1 turn in.

What about PC players? I guess Codemasters forgot (or don’t care) they made a pc version. Jerks. :evil:

I am happy with this, i got this on the 360 and it is good for the occasional “blast” and a bit of fun, I do hope the extra cars make an appearence on the PC version, why shouldn’t they!? but if that happens then I think it should be available for free. Anyway, the new cars do look good

The game sucks anyway… i cant even associate Grid and have fun in the same sentence…

Hopefully that carpack will made it to the PC too.

That TVR Cerbera Speed 12 MUST be converted to GTR2 & rFactor!

Com8 Nordschleife 2009 - 24h Layout Preview

Com8 has made lots of progress with reworking the Nürburgring Nordschleife in GTR Evolution. Based on the original Simbin version, his 2009 version will contain many changes such as new textures, the removal of all fictional advertisement boards and lots of trackside objects. FSONE 2009 - New Toyota TF109 Renders

After showing us plenty of model renders, International Pro-Modding has now released a first batch of renders that show a fully painted car of their FSONE 2009 Formula One mod. We get to check out the fully dressed-up Toyota TF109, driven by Timo Glock & Jarno Trulli. The TF109 was one of the few cars to feature the controversial double-diffuser at the beginning of this year’s season, helping the team to several podium finishes and poles. CSGT has released their World Sportscar Championship 1970 mod for rFactor, bringing one of the most exciting years in sports car racing to the simulation. World Super GT 2 - Ferrari F40 GTE Previews

Team RMT has released new previews of their World Super GT 2 mod project for rFactor 2, showing us the Ferrari F40 GTE on track. Originally planned as an additional car for the rFactor version of World Super GT, the F40 will now be making its way into WSGT 2. As usual, the car only sports basic textures for its first run, looking pretty gorgeous already though. GTX5 - New Lancia Mid Ohio Previews

Virtua_LM has released a bunch of new GTX5 for rFactor previews, showing us various Lancia Beta Montecarlos at Mid Ohio. We get to check out the Italian race cars at day & night, from the inside and the outside. GTX5 will include the high-powered and extreme racing cars of the Group 5 era which were powered by insanely powerful turbo engines and featured very extensive body modifications. Notable cars of that era were the Porsche 935, the BMW 320 and the Ford Capri which managed to win all major endurance races of that time, including the Le Mans 24 Hours. [gallery=1644]
