Good 2 see Simbin finally got the elevation levels right on Zandvoort. Better atmosphere compared to the iRacing version.

Wow, the sound of the R8 is possibly the most realistic/awesome I’ve heard in any game. I’ve no idea if the real car sounds like that, but it sounds so good especially from trackside.

What is with the stupid flags around track and silly corner markers. It looks so idiotic and unrealistic!!! I hope they will remove them.

Graphics look & sound are really nice, although zandvoort is still looking like a fictional version loosley based on the original.

does the Audi available on the closed beta?

I admit iRacing version looks sterile.
But putting objects that in real life are not there seemingly at random locations around the track, to spice the atmosphere up is not really needed.

It´s more idiotic to call markers idiotic and unrealistic just because they don´t have numbers, but colors. Ever heard of artistic freedom? Ever tried to accept fictional things on a fictional track?

OK, idiotic was a bit too much, what I ment ugly, oposite of immersive!!!
I dont mind fictional things on a fictional track, but hockenheim, zandvoort, bathurst are not fictional!!

Dude, this is not a hardcore sim. I think this title has ambitions to attract the likes of NFS Shift, DIRT or even GRID players.

It makes sense for what this game is , its a casual free to play simulator with solid physics and an emphasis on competitive play and leader boards.

Its more about fun without comprising the physics than 1-1 copying of real world environments , we get that 1-1 copying from other games.

R3E sounds have lapped every other title in the sound dept, although Codemasters is a close second.

Without question this is the dark horse of the crop of sims to be launched this year. Maybe this one will take the crown?

Can’t agree. Different r/l race events carry their own identities/advertising around a circuit. This is Simbin’s version of that. Fine by me.

The current version has a lot of bugs, though yes – this new content are really promising. Can’t wait for those nosy bugs to be fixed so I can play flawlessly (almost!).

Scratch that – the game is updating again, darn steam! didn’t update it automatically earlier! darn you!!!

Showing sim gameplay played via gamepad or keyboard – epices of the fails… But looks and sounds good.

I’m shocked to see that SimBin sims still lacks the proper lighting! So dark in the middle of the day, so unrealistic. I’ve tried the demo, same story, so it’s not bad video capture. Thanks goes to asusfor implementing Splendid modes on my lcd, much more brighter picture, yeah.

The first video’s head movement seems very exaggerated and the handling appears arcade, while the game looks awesome I am still pessemistic about the physics :(
