The Virtua_LM Junior Team has released two new preview shots of their Prototype C mod for rFactor back in January that slipped by my attention.
The shots show the GT class of the mod in action at Mid Ohio as the BMW M1 and countless Porsches race side-by-side.
Combining both Prototypes and GT’s from three different classes, Prototype C for rFactor centers around the 1983 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hour race. The mod includes legendary race cars like the Porsche 956, the Lancia LC2, the BMW M1 and countless other cars that are still considered to be among the most beautiful and spectacular sports cars of all time.

awesome as usual.
wouldn’t be bad if they released some kind of update how far the mod is from finish.

“Virtua_LM has released two new preview shots of their Prototype C mod for rFactor …”
Wrong again.
It is the VLM Junior Team that released the shots and is making the Prototype C mod for rfactor.
Also – shots released in January are not “new” in March.

If this is vintage VirtuaLM, I can’t wait. The 80s are generally not well represented in any mod or sim. Good period as you still relied on old school techniques which (even in F1) which are virtually all gone now.
Wonder if it just wouldn’t make sense to hold this over until rFactor2.

Wow, really nice of you to not quote the latter part of the sentence where I point out that they have been released in January.
Seriously, I have no idea what your problem is. It almost seems like you hate to see your mod getting some attention, I really don’t understand your attitude – At all.

The VLM Junior Team and Virtua_LM are two separate teams working on separate projects. THIS mod, the Protoype C cars, is being made by the VLM Junior Team. For some reason I have to remind you of this fact every time you have anything to say about this mod.

I understand, it was simply a mistake. I post several stories a day sometimes I make a mistake or two.
I have no problem with you calling me on them (quite the contrary, I appreciate if someone points out a mistake so I can correct it) but why do have to try and make me look bad by misquoting that first sentence?
Sometimes it feels like you´re offended that Virtua_LM’s (and the Junior Team’s) stuff is covered here and elsewhere. Not really encouraging for people who want to give your great work some more exposure.

take this with a smile…
this was supposed to be for rF1 as this was the MAIN reason I bought it but at this pace I guess it’ll be for rF3, lol.
Still Amazing work, but after years of teasing, You’d make this a standalone game!

And there’s Vince, crying over the trivial stuff again.
Looking foward to anything released by the Virtua_LM team, alway’s quality stuff.

Vince Klortho since it’s hard (I guess) to imagine any reason why Montoya would intentionally refer to the junior team as if it was the same as Virtua_LM, might there be a chance that anything more than a simple clarification from your part might be just a little bit over the top? It’s not like he’s trying to say anything bad on the teams work.
Also, I wonder why the M1 and Lancia Montecarlo are being developed for the Prototype C mod and not for Virtua_LM’s Gr. 5 cars. I don’t know if they were on the original mod, just wondering. Some people thought you were merging the two mods into one seeing those screenshots.

Will the long awaited Group5 Ford Capri also be in the mod??
