Everything has trailers these days, even books!

But slow motion shows how unrealistic cars “goes across the road surface”… Anyway looking at the progress with each build makes me sure that final product will be good.

Not gonna lie, the way the cars “go across the road surface” is my main reason for finishing most ‘sessions’ with some netKar Pro hotlapping.

By the time this title gets gold, I might be fed up with it…
Than I’ve been playing/testing it for almost 2 years.

As the saying goes great minds think alike 🙂 how do you think those that haven’t bought into wmd think, come 2014 when this game is released, the graphics alone will not be able to convince many, has we’ve been flooded with endless videos & screen shots, that the physics better be as good as any of their previous three titles to get any attention from those, that haven’t yet tried it.

    • pez2k .

That’s why being a professional games tester is actually a pretty bad job, imagine if you’d been playing it for 7 hours a day for all this time!

Looks grandiose but still waiting for competitive features to be added (e.g. mp race weekends)

Video and visuals is nothing short of stunning!!

They have the right ambition and are working with professional race drivers to tune the physics. Within release in 2014 they have all the possibilities for truly amazing sim racing experience combining realistic handling and outstanding visuals!

I am enjoying to follow this development, I think the physics and authentic handling is not yet up to my preference level but progress is made constantly.

Really hope they get the 3D rendering up to speed soon as well, they now have a guy responsible for that so its just a matter of time before that will be running great as well! 🙂

That’s really great they have professional race drivers to help them but after 1.5 year of public alpha it’s still worse than good rF1 mods (I’m talking only about really good mods like historx) physics wise. Made by amateurs.Heck, GPL feels connected to road much more than pCars and it’s 15 years old.

But the big difference is ….. these “amateurs” don’t code the physics engine. They are using a finished physics engine (pMotor2) for their nevertheless great mods.
