Project CARS – Thrustmaster Competition Winners

The winners of the Project CARS Thrustmaster Hot Lap Competition have been announced.

Ten days ago, Slightly Mad Studios & Thrustmaster launched a new hot lap competition, allowing all WMD members to win Thrustmaster hardware regardless of their driving skills.

Over 2000 members joined the competition, setting laps in the BMW Z4 GT3 at Mugello. As a thank you for the great turnout, SMS pitched in a few more prizes than initially planned, allowing 15 members to walk away with new Thrustmaster gear such as T500 RS steering wheels, TH8 RS shifters, GP XID gamepads and, last but not least, SMS coffee mugs and pens.

The full list of winners can be found below, you can also watch a replay of the live draw ceremony below (video starts at the 5-minute mark due to a technical hiccup) as Creative Dircetor Andy Tudor and the SMS stuff are having a ball determining the winners by random draw.

never knew about this Comp 🙁 dammit exams.. haven’t been keeping up with P CARS lately.

really nice to see stuff like this though. SMS are really doing something truly great with Project Cars.

    • Markus Ott

It wasn’t the first kind of event like this they had. Just keep your eyes open, I am pretty sure there will be many more competitions in the future.

  • Alan Dallas

I don’t recognize any of the winners names as persons that post on a regular basis on the WMD forums.

    • Chris Wollaston

      I do.
