If I have the original pCARS without any DLCs, should I buy this edition as well?

    • Brownninja97 .

if you liked pcars then NO. If you didnt like pcars then NO

      • RapidRefund

If you have a brain do you listen Brownninja97??? No.

      • Brownninja97 .

please justify your answer because the way i see it you would save money by buying the dlc manually compared to getting the game of the year edition if you have the game already. Could be different depending on your country though

      • RapidRefund

Maybe I read you wrong? Sounded more like you were saying don’t buy this period.

    • Johnny Penso

I don’t understand why people go on the internet and ask complete strangers to make purchasing decisions for them. How could anyone possibly know what is best for you?

      • Juhan Voolaid

Just kidding. I won’t give them any. Just wanted to see what the fanboys are responding to this nonsense. This is total fraud.

    • Leeman

I would first take a close look at the existing DLCs and see if there are any you want. You may find it cheaper than re-purchasing the entire game.

    • pez2k

If you can find it cheaper than the separate DLCs, and you want them all, then yes. Otherwise, buy the specific DLCs you’re interested in – there’s nothing exclusive to this re-release.

    • Reapercore

No, buying all the DLC will be cheaper, iirc anyone who has pCars + all DLC will get upgraded to GOTY edition for free.

    • Michael Murphy

I understood that you can buy the ‘On Demand’ pack separately for about £5 to get all of the GOTY content if you already have the base game?

  • Babis Rataplan

I have P.C. with all DLC … so I hope I will get this new bonus to…

    • Mark

I have all the DLC as well so I do hope I can get access to the combined track plus the Zonda and the Huayra. No desire to pay for a whole new game to get them.

      • the combined layout and the new paganis will also be sold separately as DLC.
From what the team said, the combined layout required an engine upgrade to handle such a large track, and as the car licenses, it cost money, hence why they charge for the whole DLC.

  • RKipker

The GOTY is not on Amazon at all that I can find

  • Derek Speare

I have PCars and all of the DLC…was a backer going all the way back to October 2012. It’s not clear in the article if the GOTY content will be in a DLC for folks who already have it (or perhaps the GOTY edition is simply a packaged deal of PCars plus all DLC). Maybe someone can shed some light?

What’s also of interest is what’s going on with PCars2/Phoenix. I’m a bit of out touch on that point…any info?

FWIW, one of my very best VR experiences so far has been with Pcars and their superb implementation of the Oculus 1.3 runtimes. It’s just great!

    • IJOJOI

pCars is shaping on nicely. Especially new physicsapproaches look promising.
New cars and tracks are also on the way as well as a lot of other stuff I am not allowed to share 🙂

      • todemanjack

There were tracks already announced/celebrated, Like Indianapolis, Daytona RC. partially made and licensed for pCars. Which weren’t in the game. So we have no reason to be jealous of any information you think you are privy too. Who wants more disappointment in their life.
