Project CARS – Meet the GUMPERT apollo sport

Following the first video that featured the A4 DTM car, WMD Team Member Scorzilla has put together the next car showcase video of Project CARS.

This time, we get to check out the GUMPERT apollo sport, a V8 bi-turbo powered street legal sports car. The apollo sport is one of several vehicles ready to drive in the current development build of Project CARS.

Every interested sim racer can become Team Member for a one-time price of 25€ to enjoy weekly development builds and up-close access to follow the development progress of Project CARS. For more info on pricing and benefits, check out the WMD website.

    Hi Gulyas – Try to remember that this is Pre-Alpha so is heavily unoptimised. Even so, the video plays back fine my end. The parts i think you are talking about at the start, the pans across the front and rear are caused by the Editing suite and having to slow the clips down. In game with the free cam, if you pan across, it’s so fast that it just would not fit and be pointless.

    Performance for me even in it’s unoptimised form is very good. Here is a race with AI below, it’s runs fine.

    Much better than the Audi R14 Video. Somehow it is a bit like what TopGear do when they present a car, sin’t it :D.
