this is definitely getting annoying. first i was thinking people were picking on cars and virtualr.net but with all this nonsense of news this is definitely an ad campaign!

So an interview with isi, simbin etc shouldn’t be posted here either by that logic ?
Or only if they would have official weekly builds as news here too ?

With 130 posts you’re advertising yourself pretty well too :)

Tell you what, make Montoya an offer for the domain name and site, then you can run it how YOU want.
Be fair, no-one is making you click into pCARS threads other than your own need to moan.

The news comes as it comes.  It can’t be helped if one game is progressing quicker than another.  Something you have to learn to deal with.

Wowowow I think you might be onto something……..if you read this website backwards there are some very clear subliminal messages demanding that you buy pCARS and submit to the will of SMS. WE’RE ALL BEING BRAINWASHED MY FRIENDS!

I’m also seeing a lot of stuff about something called rotcaFr….not sure what that’s all about.

Let him do his work guys. This site is Monty’s hobby and some of them news are from his job. Think about it.More important is, that the news-flow will remain the same in the future. There have been some weeks where almost nothing happend here beside us talking about old news. Thats something that shouldn’t happen. But again, it is a hobby so this is only a little wink.

News are there, nothing is missing. It is still the best SimRacing newspaper and we should be thankful instead of moaning around…

The weekly build release posts get a little redundant but I suspect even if Rob didn’t work for SMS we would still see the weekly builds posted here. Rob still posts about other sims too. I think he has done a good job of continuing to supply an unbiased service even though he is employed by SMS.

I’m just stunned at the kerb detail in shot 19. I’m used to seeing that kind of polycount only in FPS games, but this is for something you drive over in a second.

  • pez2k .

I also read BSimRacing, and Wix posts the weekly build press releases too. As far as I know he’s as neutral as they come.

I agree with you that Montoya is still unbiased – SMS just release a whole lot of press. I think ISI might be catching on though, with the multiple items of rF2 news this week, and I hope that Simbin and Kunos start releasing lots of info on their titles too.

Odds are the curb is not using especially high polygon counts but rather really good texturing which most sims seem to ignore. It looks real because they made a realistic texture rather than just red and white stripes.

    Good stuff, huh?

    It’s a very pretty game.

RF 77 f1 v8 Cromwell as good or better then any car in  any Sim Racing game.  Just fantastic with aids off  on proper gp tracks!

Any TRUE sim racer will love this car!   (not in love with all the cars but this car is a winner/ i am sure everyone will have different favorites)

No, he’s wasting OUR time, and that’s what he’s looking for.

Poor poor SBKRacer, so desperately in need of attention.
