The M3 GTS GT4 is even mapped for livery painting already, so there’ll be at least a couple of paintjobs done by the time everyone else gets it.

The RGT8 is a bit scary to drive at the moment, but the GTS is already pretty decent for a very first export. Looking forward to putting it head-to-head with the Ginetta eventually.

Yes, what happened to the Ginettas? I was really looking forward to driving them and I remember telling myself that I couldn’t wait for the Ginetta and Multiplayer to come along. At the time, I imagined the Ginettas would be a matter of weeks, maybe days and the multiplier much longer. I guess I was wrong.

That said, I am really enjoying the BMW M3 GT (I forgot the actual denomination, but the modern one). In the last build it was by far the best car in the build, along with the always reliable Asano. But the M3 has that quality that many modern sims are still lacking and that is the ability to recover high speed drifts. Try that in iRacing (and in some cars in rF2).

I was very pleased to find that driving the Lotus in AC was a great experience and that the M3 in pCARS wasn’t that far off (well, still a little bit, but very close). I now wish the the iRacing guys get to drive the M3 and the lotus and recognize the error of their ways.

Which cars get modelled next seems to be based on the decisions of the art team and the availability of reference material, I can only assume that they don’t have enough detailed pictures of the Ginettas yet or are waiting for CAD files. Mind, until the RGT8 the last three cars had all been surprise reveals, so I’m not sure what’s going on behind the scenes at all!

Nothing reaches the junior level anymore… I know we paid only 10 euros, but we deserve to play the new stuff too. And now we can’t even upgrade.
Juniors don’t even have the Nordschleife yet, which was released long ago.

tbh, dont juniors only get a build once a month anyways (if I remember right) hence why i moved up to the 1 build a week level back when I could

The toolpack descriptions have always listed that some content would be exclusive to higher tiers.

I really do not understand your complaint, you are going to be able to play with those two cars on friday. Of course it’s not available to Juniors, since they get only a build the first friday of each month.

EDIT: ok, i think the article may be wrong. Team Members+ will get it Friday, but i also think Juniors will get it this friday, as it is the first friday of March.

Not yet and for some time. But maybe SMS decides to open the door again for a short time.

Grrrrrr…..just got a new GTX 690 with triple monitors and I’m dying to try this!! I really feel like an idiot for not joining when I could, as it looks awesome. Just gonna have to be patient and in the meantime drool over these previews :)

You won’t have any fun with triple monitor and pCARS atm, support for that will come very late in the development.

I’m having loads of fun with 3 monitors, yep the image is stretched at the edges but hardly noticeable when you are in the thick of it.
Nordschleife at night is fantastic.

shame i can’t get it to look anything like that with normal settings… maybe in 2030 i’ll be able to.

Can’t wait to drive these new cars.I feel like the haters have lightened up on the blind criticisms of pCars since the AC preview came out. Maybe they realized it’s not as bad as they thought. That and it’s always getting better and better. Looking forward to both titles.

If it’s any consolation, maybe this will brighten your day. I didn’t hear about Pcars until after the public beta closed. So no new stuff or old stuff for me. :( The pictures look brilliant though, can’t wait for this to go gold.

They just have something new to hate on, that’s all.

GRRRR!!!!! My fanatec GT3RS V2 broke AGAIN!!! today and I was looking forward to driving the RUF.

Its about time I went back to Logitech. I don’t even have my wheel a year and its been replaced once , the power adaptor died three months ago and now my wheel wont finish calibrating.

It will be a few weeks before I get to drive the RUF now.

I too have been playing on 3 monitors and it looks pretty darn good for having no support running on 3 monitors … I must try the Nordschleife at night also :)

Weird, I have the game mostly in medium settings and not only the game looks VERY close to that but it also runs at 60 FPS (v-synced) with AI.

Maybe it’s a hardware issue? Are you on the latest drivers?

On first shake down drives pretty damn good too

I’m finally upgrading from my trusty G25. Bought Clubsport pedals which im very happy with. I was thinking about buying the Clubsport base with the formula rim (all I can afford at the moment) and buying the GT rim (250 Euro plus shipping) at a later date. I still have lingering doubts about reliability of the wheel so…..
Thrustmaster T500RS with an extra rim or the TH8 shifter for the same money?

I dont want to rag on Fanatec here but this is the third time I’ve had trouble with my wheel and I sent them an email asking for a refund but they wont give me a refund. Instead they are sending me ANOTHER!!! replacement wheel.

I dont want another wheel because I am 99% sure it will fail within four months.

Nah, v0.9 will just be switching to beta status by then. Right now it is pre-pre-pre-alpha right? :P

I know you’re joking, but the official definition being used is that an alpha has all of the features present but incomplete, whereas by beta they are all complete. It’s pre-release, pre-beta and pre-alpha all at once!

The problem with selling it is I will have the person that buys it off me come back to me when it breaks in three or four months looking for their money back.

Well I think it has great balance and drives how you want it to you can drive it like a track racer and it responds you can drive it like a drift master and it responds to that excellent as well.

sell it as “new from RMA” with the bill that certifies it, if it breaks only fanatec can be blamed

You know as much as I am disapointed with the GT3RS V2 wheel I must say Fanatec aren’t too bad. They sent UPS to my house to get the wheel collected. I still would have prefered a refund but I am not too mad at them. I will try to sell the wheel some way or another and buy a G27 instead.
