Slightly Mad Studios have officially announced Project CARS 3, releasing the first video trailer of the third installment of the Project CARS franchise.
Following up the community-funded Project CARS & Project CARS 2 titles, the third chapter of the series seems to be putting an even heavier emphasis on career mode and progression as players will be able to create their racing persona and progress through the ranks in various car classes, starting with road-going vehicles and ending up in GT race series.
According to Slightly Mad Studios, the title will include hundreds of cars and a variety of locations, including both open road & street circuits as well as real-life race tracks.
A pretty unique standout feature visible in the trailer is car customization as we get to see decals and rims being changed on the fly in the showroom. The trailer also prominently features Corvette’s new C8.R race car.
We won’t have to wait for more answers for long as Project CARS 3 is planned to be released this summer, coming to the PC and current-gen gaming consoles Playstation 4 & Xbox One.
